Leaving Zion canyon, utah.
truly a mountain, climbing to the rim about 900 m above to look down and around.
heading west through las vegas (!) towards those trees and the ocean.
watched dozen's of mountain goats run on the slip rock below
perigan falcons soaring, cactus country, ate some prickly pear, mulberries are fruiting here
looking forward to the rainy places
our last day of desert driving

Stumbled on your blog through the grad reunion website. Zion canyon is great hey? I live in Arizona (random, Justin Bourne lives less than 10 minutes away form me) and have been there a few times. Anyways, thought I'd say hi. Later man!
