a great unraveling

We're in a time of a great unraveling as Culture has become something informed by a machine age relationship with the earth that seems to be characterized by forgetfulness. For what I know culture(s) were the result of how people interacted with the earth, informing dress, houses, language, story, song, celebration. In all of these things, cultural artifacts informed outside of 'the machine', is our ability to remember. For human minds are weak, I know this for myself. I think there is much work in remembering, until we come to remember that we are of this earth, and then we may live through a willingness to change, or our children, children, children....
